Artist Carol Heft's Work to be Featured at Blue Mountain Gallery,1/29-2/23

The Blue Mountain Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition of new work by Carol Heft from January 29 - February 23, 2013. A Window that Shows Me the Moon will include works on paper that include collage, drawing, painting, digital images, and constructions in a variety of materials. Also included will be handmade books by the artist. Ms. Heft's work is inspired by an exploratory approach to materials, and the interchange of two and three dimensional space on flat surfaces.

Justice for Jazz Artists has released the following statement: 'The top jazz artists in the world live and work in New York City-yet many older jazz musicians are forced to retire in poverty.'
