Dancers Over 40's last event of 2015, the 7th Annual Legacy Awards presentation, was its most joyous. This holiday celebration and awards event was held last night, December 7th, at LIPS Restaurant, 227 East 56th Street. This year's event was hosted by Richard Skipper, with live entertainment by cabaret legend Barbara Minkus and Dames at Sea star Danny Gardner along with other surprise guests. Dancers Over 40's last event of 2015, the 7thAnnual Legacy Awards presentation, is its most joyous. This holiday celebration and awards event honoring our very own members will be held on Monday, December 7th, from 6 to 9pm at LIPS Restaurant, 227 East 56th Street. This year's event will be hosted by Richard Skipper, with live entertainment by cabaret legend Barbara Minkus and Dames at Sea star Danny Gardneralong with other surprise guests.

Dancers Over 40, the organization "dedicated to preserving the History, Legacy and Lives of our creative community, while sharing the knowledge with the younger generation just beginning their careers" will present a tribute to the great George Balanchine, and the incredibly talented group of performers who worked with the master during his tenure at New York City Ballet. The event will take place tonight, October 8th at 8 p.m. at St. Luke's Theater (308 West 46th Street).

The 19th Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR COMPETITION announced a total of $3,927,000 had been raised by the over 64 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway, and National Tour companies to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This beats the previous record of $3,420,000 set in 2004.
