According to Billboard, country breakout Chris Stapleton has officially broken the record previously held by Garth Brooks since 1992, in holding the top three spots on the Top Country Albums Chart. According to Billboard, last night country music superstar Garth Brooks performed his greatest hits at an intimate concert in Nashville. The venue, a small honky tonk on Broadway in Nashville, is the smallest the legend has played in years. Brooks was dressed casually in a t shirt and jeans as he performed some of his most famous songs to the small crowd. Fans started to shout out requests after he finished his 21 song set (found below) and he happily obliged.

North Charleston Coliseum Celebrates Twenty-Five Years of Live Entertainment in 2018

On January 29, 1993, the Lowcountry entertainment scene changed forever. On this date, the North Charleston Coliseum opened its doors for the first time. The show was World Figure Skating Champions featuring Olympic champions Elizabeth Manley and Marina Klimova & Sergio Ponomarenko. The next night, country music superstars Alan Jackson and Lorrie Morgan took the stage for the first concert in the Coliseum. Both shows had capacity crowds and the Lowcountry finally had a world class entertainment venue. In the years following, the biggest names in music and entertainment would make North Charleston a regular stop on their world tours.
