Stouthearted Films is thrilled to announce the world premiere of PUTZEL, an indie comedy starring Jack T. Carpenter (I LOVE YOU BETH COOPER, SYDNEY WHITE) in a breakout role and -- following her stellar performance in HELLO I MUST BE GOING -- the incomparable Melanie Lynskey (WIN WIN, UP IN THE AIR, THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER). PUTZEL is directed by Jason Chaet (Creative Consultant KISSING JESSICA STEIN) and will have its world premiere on October 13 at the 2012 Woodstock Film Festival.

UnsungMusicalsCo. (UMC), whose mission focuses on the preservation of musical theater through the restoration and presentation of obscure but artistically sound works, has announced programming for its 2013 season. A one-night-only benefit concert presentation of the legendary 1935 musical revue At Home Abroad kicks off the season on October 15, 2012 at the Peter Norton Symphony Space. Bruce Vilanch, Julie Halston, Christine Pedi, Noah Racey and Margaret Colin are among the cast.

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's THE LION KING was already hard a work recording their track for the album. TRANSPORT GROUP has once again partnered with Charity Folks for its highly anticipated annual BROADWAY HOLIDAY AUCTON. Every bid and purchase supports TRANSPORT GROUP in its mission to stage new works and reimagines revivals by American writers. Since its founding in 2001 by Jack Cummings III and Robyn Hussa, TRANSPORT GROUP has staged thirteen productions: seven plays and six musicals, including six world premieres and seven revivals. and have done outreach projects to disadvantaged communities.
