Frances Black Projects & IRT Theater present, Manifest Destiny, a new comedy about two wounded but charming performers determined to reach their potential. The show is created by Aitor Basauri, Zachary Fine and Lucas Caleb Rooney, performed by Zachary Fine and Lucas Caleb Rooney, directed by Aitor Basauri (founding member of Spy Monkey theatre company), choreography by Caroline Fermin (company member of Galim Dance) and puppets by Annie Worden. Earlier this season, Folger Theatre announced plans to expand programming towards young patrons with Brews and Banter, a new pre-show behind-the-scenes conversation about the plays being performed on the Folger stage. Patrons are encouraged to peek behind the curtain with Folger actors engage with the greatest literature in the world at the world's largest Shakespeare library.

MARY STUART at Folger Theatre is a must see production. As directed by Richard Clifford and featuring the dual leading ladies Kate Eastwood Norris and Holly Twyford, this is a show that catches lightning as only live theatre can do. This is not a documentary, however, it is vibrant, exciting, intriguing theatre presented by artists at the top of their game.
