PBS announced today a fall primetime line-up featuring a strong roster of wide-ranging programs.
Among the exciting highlights will be "Barbra Streisand: Back to Brooklyn" in which the legendary Barbra Streisand makes a historic homecoming back to Brooklyn at the new Barclays Center arena

Seventeen dancers face a bare stage in an empty theater, where casting for a new Broadway musical is almost complete. This audition offers the chance of a lifetime. Every drop of sweat, every hour of training, and every moment of dancing comes together in A Chorus Line, the musical for anyone who's ever had a dream and put it all on the line. BPA's production is directed by Steven Fogell and Joanna Hardie, with choreography by Joanna Hardie, and musical direction by Chris Kolbegger - the artistic team behind BPA's smash hits The Rocky Horror Show and Chicago.

Tenor Anthony Kearns takes the title role in Opera Naples [FL]'s production of Charles Gounod's, Faust - tonight, Friday, Feb. 24 - at 7:30 p.m. This is Mr. Kearns third appearance with Opera Naples, where he previously performed, with much acclaim, as 'Romeo' in Romeo and Juliet: Then and Now and as 'Edgardo Di Ravenswood' in Lucia di Lammermoor.

Traditional, proper Gilbert and Sullivan this ain't. But this scaled down version of "Pirates of Penzance" definitely packs in the laughs for those in the mood for absurdist parody. Director Brendan Mack and his zany band of actors have taken their obvious love for the show and realized how ridiculous the piece really is and then amped that silliness up to 11.

According to Nielsen Media Research data, 'Meet the Press' was top-rated Sunday morning public affairs program for the week ending April 25. 'Meet the Press' attracted 3.181 million total viewers (2.3/7 HH), +20% more (+543,000) than second place CBS' 2.638 million total viewers (1.9/5 HH), a 28% advantage (+704,000) over ABC's 2.477 million total viewers (1.7/5 HH), and a 188% (2,076,000 million) lead over FOX's 1.105 million total viewers (0.8/2 HH). 'Meet the Press' delivered an additional 841,000 viewers with rebroadcasts -- 314,000 viewers on the network and 527,000 viewers on MSNBC.
