Theatre Raleigh announces the 2016 Hot Summer Nights Season including a return of the family favorite The Wolf (March 3-20). Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products and Iconic Entertainment Studios announced today that ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: LIVE ON STAGE!, a brand new, music-filled interactive live show, will take the Times Union Center's stage today, October 17th, for two performances only!

Today in 2009 the first Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie opened at Henry Miller's Theatre (now the Stephen Sondheim Theatre), where it ran for 117 performances. Originally titled Let's Go Steady, the satire on American society is set in 1958. The story was inspired by the phenomenon of popular singer Elvis Presley and his draft notice into the Army in 1957. The original Broadway production was a Tony Award-winning success. It spawned a London production and several major revivals, a sequel, a 1963 film and a 1995 television production.

Ralph's World will perform a concert for families on Sunday, November 8 at 11:30 am at the Jewish Museum.   Ralph's World is the musical planet where kids rock out to high-energy tunes by Ralph Covert, the Grammy-nominated, Chicago-based indie rocker. Covert and his bandmates Tommy O'Brien, Brian Sheridan, and Bean Weng bring to their kids' concerts the same high-energy and super-melodic sense that he developed for his adult pop-rock band, The Bad Examples.
