The Prince Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, has revealed that Maxwell Beer has received The Prince Fellowship and Amy Marie Haven has received the Prince/TTLP Fellowship.

Fresh off an eight-month run starring as Berry Gordy in Motown: The Musical, Gary, Indiana native Chester Gregory appears in Kansas City Repertory production of August Wilson's FENCES.

Next up at Kansas City Repertory Theatre is a new production of August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning 1983 play 'Fences' at the KC Rep Copaken Theatre in downtown Kansas City with an exceptional cast. Directing 'Fences' is Ron OJ Parson Director/Resident Artist at Court Theatre of Chicago. AC Smith plays Troy Maxxson supported by Alfred Wilson as Troy's best friend and co-worker, Jim Bono.

In October and November of 2016, Sculpture Month Houston launched its inaugural month-long citywide celebration of the sculptural medium. This biennial event achieved collaboration with 43 venues in its first year including noted art galleries, nonprofit art spaces, the Houston Airport System, the Houston Police Department, City Hall, and its flagship location: SITE Gallery Houston at the Silos at Sawyer Yards in a survey of Houston's sculpture scene, all coming together to bring this art form into the spotlight.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2017/18 season with August Wilson's beloved play, FENCES, the winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play that same year.

Last summer, a group form the Ohio Humanities Council visited Piqua to consider it as one of their Ohio Chautauqua sites for 2017.  Unfortunately, they were not selected, but they did encourage the group to develop their own Chautauqua event.  Well, give folks from Piqua a challenge and they deliver.  So a dedicated committee officially began working on Piqua Chautauqua! The dates for this event will be September 19, 20 & 21, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will take place at Hance Pavilion, located in Fountain Park in Piqua.
