This year, the Garden State Film Festival (GSFF) celebrates its Twelfth Anniversary with a historic move to Atlantic City from Asbury Park. The festival, founded in 2003, runs from April 3-6, 2014 in various locales in Atlantic City with financial, marketing and logistical support from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

On Friday, April 4, 201 the Garden State Film Festival will kick off its twelfth season in its new home with a cocktail party and premier screening at Resorts Casino and Hotel.

TALHOTBLOND opens tonight, March 7th and runs at 8pm todays and Saturdays, and 2pm on Sundays through April 26, 2014. Ruskin Group Theatre is located at 3000 Airport Avenue, Santa Monica, CA 90405. The NAACP and TV One announce today that Stevie Wonder will perform, Kevin Hart has been added as a presenter, and Kerry Washington, Michael B. Jordan, Terrence Howard, Alfre Woodard, David Oyelowo, Chandra Wilson, Shemar Moore and Regina King have been confirmed to attend the 45th NAACP Image Awards. The two-hour star-studded special will broadcast LIVE on TV One from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday, February 22, 9:00 p.m./6:00 p.m. ET/PT. The telecast will also include 'The 45th NAACP Image Awards Red Carpet Live' one-hour pre-show at 8:00 p.m./5:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild tonight announced winners of its Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists awards in 14 categories of film, television, commercials and live theater during the black-tie ceremony at the Paramount Studios Theatre. MAC Cosmetics was the Official Cocktail Reception Sponsor. The awards took place before an audience of more than 500, including guild members, industry executives and press. The NAACP and TV One announce today the second group of presenters confirmed to participate at the 45th NAACP Image Awards including Idris Elba, Vin Diesel, Terry Crews, Nia Long, Naomie Harris, Morris Chestnut, Chadwick Boseman, Tyrese Gibson, Ed Asner, and Ben Vereen.

Yesterday, a federal court judge dismissed the remainder of a lawsuit against SAG-AFTRA filed by Ed Asner. In his order, United States District Court Judge Manuel L. Real found the court had no jurisdiction over the case because Asner has provided no evidence of the union withholding records that he or any other member of the union have access to review.
