La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for His Girl Friday, adapted by John Guare (Six Degrees of Separation, House of Blue Leaves) from the Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur play The Front Page and the Columbia Pictures film His Girl Friday. Directed by Playhouse Artistic Director Christopher Ashley (Glengarry Glen Ross, Memphis), the production will kick off the 2013/2014 season, running May 28 - June 30 in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that the 4th Street Bar Association (4SBA), NYTW's young patron group, will hold a Casino Night, hosted by Nick Westrate (THE LITTLE FOXES, TRIBES), on Monday, April 29 at New York Theatre Workshop, 79 East 4 Street.

For the first in New York time since its Tony Award-winning Broadway production in 2003, I Am My Own Wife by Doug Wright will be performed at The Studio Theatre on Theatre Row for four performances from May 23-26, 2013. Jen Forcino directs Scott Voloshin in a solo performance, portraying 30 distinct characters in this Pulitzer Prize-winning drama. Ghostlight Records has announced plans to preserve HANDS ON A HARDBODY with an Original Broadway Cast Recording. The album will be recorded next month and released in June 2013. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that Sontag: Reborn, based on the books by Susan Sontag and edited by David Rieff, adapted and performed by Moe Angelos, directed by Marianne Weems, and produced in collaboration with The Builders Association, will begin performances Tuesday, May 28 at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. Opening night is set for Thursday, June 6 at 7pm. Sontag: Reborn is scheduled to run through Sunday, June 30.
