Merle Haggard will be honored with the Crystal Milestone Award on the 49TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, to commemorate Haggard's prolific 50 years in country music.

The Academy of Country Music announced today that chart-topping country music star and ACM Award nominee Darius Rucker will return to host the ACM Lifting Lives Celebrity Golf Classic at TPC Las Vegas for the third consecutive year on Saturday, April 5, 2014. ABC and dick clark productions have extended their broadcast agreements for the “American Music Awards” for nine years and “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve with Ryan Seacrest” for ten years. 

The CLIO Awards, esteemed international advertising, design and communications competition, opens the field for entries for its 2014 awards show, taking place in New York City on October 1, 2014. Agencies from across the global creative landscape are invited to submit their best work from the past year, in eighteen media types, for review and selection by a panel of esteemed CLIO jurors.
