Shakespeare Royal Oak's 3rd Show: Romeo And Juliet August 7-8 (ROYAL OAK MI) Water Works Theatre Company announces the schedule and casts for its 15th annual outdoor summer theatre festival, Shakespeare Royal Oak. The festival begins July 27 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park and continues through Sunday, August 9. MCCC Theatre Students Presents THE NORMAL HEART This Weekend

It's the early 1980s and an unidentified disease is killing off an oddly specific group of people: gay men, mainly in New York City. Students in the Mercer County Community College (MCCC) Theatre Program present the Larry Kramer drama 'The Normal Heart' at MCCC's Studio Theatre tonight, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 6 at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. The Studio Theatre is located adjacent to Kelsey Theatre on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Michigan's longest running, non-profit, professional theatre, the Detroit Repertory Theatre will hold its Annual Black Tie Awards Night and Homecoming Celebration and Performance tonight, November 15, 2014 at 6:30 PM. The Black Tie is the Annual Major Fundraiser for the Theatre. Funds raised at the benefit go to the Theatre's Working Capitol Fund.

Michigan Shakespeare Festival to Tour MACBETH, ROMEO & JULIET, 11/4-5/30

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is proud to announce the opening of their 2013/2014 Touring Performances. From November 4, 2013 through May 30, 2014 the MSF tour will perform Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet for high schools, libraries, community organizations, and senior centers throughout Southern Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio. Adapted and directed by award-winning MSF Artistic Director Janice L. Blixt, productions run approximately 100 minutes and are available for booking at any time throughout the year. Tickets are $8.00 per?person with a minimum of 150 audience members per show (teachers, chaperones and organizers each receive a complimentary ticket).
