Bryan Cogman, writer for Game of Thrones, has signed an overall deal with Amazon, according to Variety.

HBO received 108 Primetime Emmy® nominations for the upcoming 70th Primetime Emmy Awards®, which were announced today in Los Angeles.

Columbia Records and HBO have partnered to create an officially licensed album of music inspired by Game of Thrones, set to accompany the eagerly anticipated final season of the award-winning drama series, premiering in 2019.  

According to Variety, the production team behind Game of Thrones will receive the BAFTA special award at this year's ceremony. The award will be accepted by Hannah Murray and John Bradley.

Walt Disney Studios announced today that David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, creators of the smash-hit, Emmy Award-winning television series Game of Thrones, will write and produce a new series of Star Wars films.

The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) have announced nominations for outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio/audio, and promotional writing during 2017. Winners will be honored at the 2018 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at concurrent ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles.
