Audiences of all ages will thrill to the adventures of a mischievous boy, hungry wolf, grumpy grandpa and collection of animal characters in Peter and the Wolf at New Jersey Symphony Orchestra family concerts on Today, February 11, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. In his famous musical fairytale, Prokofiev cleverly matches each character to an instrument and a musical theme so listeners can imagine the exciting tale as it unfolds.

The proud daughter brought along her 18-piece orchestra to let the fans hear what it sounded like back in the day.  It's in the genes, and Deana Martin with an effervescent personality and brilliant command of a stage, vocally reminds you of all the music that still thrills millions. You even got to see some touching family home movies and legendary performance clips of Dean & Jerry.  Legend Radio's event also celebrated it's 3rd birthday event and Dick Robinson is not just preserving the Great American Songbook, he's creating a whole new chapter.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Xian Zhang announce the Orchestra's classical, pops and family programs for the 2017-18 season, Zhang's second as the Orchestra's critically acclaimed artistic leader. The NJSO brings a diverse range of compelling programs to six venues across the Garden State, with highlights including classical masterworks, a Winter Festival celebrating foreign artists and composers who found creative inspiration on America's welcoming shores, film-with-orchestra presentations of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial and music- and comedy-filled performances with Tony Award-winning star Jason Alexander.

Acclaimed Music Director Xian Zhang and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra present Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto and Elgar's Enigma Variations, February 23-26 in Englewood, Newark, Red Bank and Morristown. Pianist Kirill Gerstein-hailed as "alarmingly gifted" by Classical Review-returns to perform the Rachmaninoff concerto, one of the most enduring works in the canon.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra presents Beethoven's Violin Concerto with Pinchas Zukerman, the second program of the three-weekend 2017 Winter Festival, January 20-22 in Princeton, Newark and Morristown.

DRUMLine Live, the show-stopping attraction created by the musical team behind 20th Century Fox's hit movies "Drumline" and "Drumline: A New Beat," parades onto the Capitol Center for the Arts mainstage on Tuesday, March 7 at 7:30PM. This show is one of several William H. Giles Series performances during the CCA's 2016-17 season.
