In 'Wake Up, You're Dead!,' Aaron Haskell of Brooklyn Art Department (www.brooklynartdepartment.com), one of the original designers of Nightmare: NYC's Haunted House, gives us a Halloween-flavored creation myth. It's a De La Guarda-type event and spectacle that adds a late-night attraction to 'La MaMa Puppet Series IV--Built to Perform.' It will be presented October 29 to November 7 in the second-floor Club of La MaMa E.T.C., 74A East Fourth Street.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2010 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and much beloved films. On Wednesday, April 21, Grammy Award winner Michelle Williams, formerly of Destiny's Child, returned to the Los Angeles theatre scene, this time as 'Roxie Hart' in the Los Angeles engagement of CHICAGO at Pantages Theatre following her extended Broadway engagement!

Last Life will play its final performance on March 14 at the Ohio Theatre (66 Wooster Street located between Spring and Broome).

Actor Corey Haim died Wednesday, March 10, at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, Los Angeles. He was 38 years old. An autopsy was performed on Thursday, but the coroner's office has not declared an official cause of death. Haim's mother has spoken out to say that the coroner's office told her that her son had an enlarged heart and water in his lungs which may have led to pulmonary congestion. Toxicology tests could take another six to eight weeks.
