The New York Yankees today announced that Yankee Stadium will host the second annual 'Bombers Boomer Broadway Softball Classic' on Thursday, June 14, 2012.

LOST IN LOVE - a new musical based on the hit songs of Air Supply, which held an industry-only reading in April, plays again at the Triad Theatre tonight, June 5. The cast includes Tony-nominated actor Constantine Maroulis ('Rock of Ages,' 'American Idol') and Andrea McArdle, Broadway's original 'Annie.' Graham Russell of Air Supply will be performing on guitar and Russell Hitchcock will also be in attendance.

Reinventing the traditions of circus, cabaret, variety and burlesque for the 21st century audience, Spiegelworld will bring its all new show, entitled Empire, to the heart of Broadway, pitching its infamous tent at 265 West 45th Street. On Monday, June 25, 2012 at 9:30pm, a cast of Broadway performers will gather at Joe's Pub to sing songs from Pump Up The Volume, the new rock musical based on the 1990 film starring Christian Slater about a pirate radio shock jock who shakes up a small town.

Today we are talking to a two-time Tony Award winning lyricist and book writer who was responsible for the 2010 Best Musical winner, MEMPHIS, and who has since written the libretto of the Gershwin revue NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET and received a well-earned Tony nomination for his efforts; one of the show's ten nods - Joe DiPietro. Nicholas Rodriguez, known to soap audiences as Nick Chavez on ABC's 'One Life to Live' for which he received a GLAAD Media Award, has joined the cast of 'LOST IN LOVE' the Air Supply musical for the sold-out staged reading on June 5 to benefit The Actors Fund. Rodriguez replaces Justin Matthew Sargent, who had a scheduling conflict.
