Richard 'Bick' Goss, a noted New York City-based theater director and choreographer, former Bob Fosse dancer, and the Founder and Co-Artistic Director (with Frank Evans) of the non-profit musical theater development organization, Musical Mondays Theatre Lab, died this past Saturday, August 3, from complications related to Parkinson's Disease, which Mr. Goss had battled for more than five years. He was 75 years old.

Performers include Kristen Behrendt DeGrazia as Reno Sweeey, John Muriello as Moonface Martin, Megan Keiser as Hope, Joe Mosher as Billy Crocker, Megan O'Brien as Erma, and Ken Van Egdon as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Brett Bordon, Trista Carlson, Jon Cryer, Jean Grewe, Emily Hill, Brian Lawler, Susan Manuel , Mike Nelson , Christine Pernetti, Glen Schmitz, Jerry Stamp, Raiden Takeuchi, Rex VanDorpeAudrey , Wagner, Teresa Wagner, Lisa Warren and Sheila Wayson round out the ensemble.

Cole Porter's songs are justifiably classic, both the tunes that relate to the backstage story and the numbers for the show within the show, and this company has the voices to put them over sensationally.

There is virtually nothing in the world of show business that Kaye Ballard and Liliane Montevecchi haven't left their mark on - acting, singing, story-telling, comedy, cabaret, dancing. . . in movies, on TV and performing live on stage - they've done it all. The Coachella Valley's premiere theatrical venue, The McCallum Theatre, has added an exciting new array of offerings to its' already jam-packed upcoming seaon. EVOLUTION OF LOVE tells a traditional love story with some of music's most loved songs. Bret Shuford and Missy Schmotzer use popular songs from all genres, including songs from Carrie Underwood, 'Footloose,' Shania Twain, 'Dirty Dancing,' Cole Porter, Stevie Wonder, Sheena Easton and more, to explore the ups and downs of falling (and staying) in love! Starting The Crazy Coqs' very exciting September schedule is the highly acclaimed Barb Jungr, who returns after a sell out week earlier this year with her new show HERE COMES THE NIGHT (September 3 - 7), followed by one of the country's leading musical stars Dave Willetts, in his show AN EVENING WITH DAVE WILLETTS (September 10 - 12). Making their debut at Crazy Coqs are the unmissable, unique piano duo Worbey and Farrell (September 13 & 14). The wonderfully talented theatre, TV and film actress Celia Imrie performs her debut cabaret show LAUGHING MATTERS (September 17 - 21) and also returning are Kit & McConnel with their new show SECOND MARRIAGE (September 24 - 28).

Ross Petty, one of Canada's leading musical theatre actors and producers, just happened to have starred as the principal male lead in a touring production of Anything Goes early in his career. It was 1980 and Petty played Billy Crocker opposite Ginger Rogers as Reno Sweeney. The cast also included another legendary performer: Sid Caesar, who played Moonface Martin (aka Public Enemy Number 13). Remembering the year Petty played in ANYTHING GOES, he attended the July 24th evening performance at the Princess of Wales Theatre with his wife Karen Kain, the Artistic Director of the National Ballet of Canada. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, just after the Supreme Court struck down California's Proposition 8 earlier this month, stage and screen star John Barrowman married his partner of 20 years, Scott Gill. Barrowman told the Mirror: 'I started welling up when we said our vows. It was the same with our civil partnership. I think it was because I never thought we'd be able to do it. Scott and I felt completely different after our civil ceremony, like we'd made a big step. But after this I feel very proud, happy and chuffed. It feels right.'

Prospect Theater Company will present THE GREAT NYC TREASURE QUEST as part of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Performances will be held on Friday, July 26 at 1pm and Saturday, July 27 at 11am at The PTC Performance Space.
