Whether it's the national anthem played before every game, the music ballplayers select to accent their 'walk up' to home plate, or the seventh inning stretch when fans sing 'Take Me Out To The Ball Game,' music is an integral part of the baseball experience. To celebrate the soundtrack of our national pastime, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents Take Me Out To The Ball Game: Popular Music And The National Pastime. The exhibit will open on March 14, when Bob Santelli, Founding Executive Director of the GRAMMY Museum and the exhibit's curator, will discuss the history of music in baseball with Barry Zito at the Museum's Clive Davis Theater as part of the Museum's Public Programs. The exhibit will run through baseball season until fall 2019.

To showcase iconic costumes and pieces from her personal archive, the GRAMMY Museum®proudly debuts Diamond In A Rhinestone World: The Costumes Of Dolly Parton presented by City National Bank.

The Recording Academy and Clive Davis will present the annual Pre-GRAMMY® Gala on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at The Beverly Hilton, the evening preceding the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards®. As part of the celebration, Clarence Avant will be recognized as the 2019 GRAMMY Salute To Industry Icons® honoree for his groundbreaking contributions to the music industry.

Three American Masters Pictures documentaries will have their world premiere at Sundance Film Festival 2019, which runs from January 24 – February 3: Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool, N. Scott Momaday: Words from a Bear and Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am.

To showcase iconic costumes and pieces from her personal archive, the GRAMMY Museum® proudly presents Diamond In A Rhinestone World: The Costumes Of Dolly Parton presented by City National Bank, which will be the first exhibit Parton has had in the United States outside of her Tennessee theme park Dollywood. The exhibit will open on Feb. 4, when Parton will discuss stories and the history behind these costumes at the Museum's Clive Davis Theater as part of an exclusive Town Hall Program. The exhibit opens to the public on Feb. 5 and will run through March 17. Additionally, Parton will be honored at the 2019 MusiCares® Person of the Year tribute on Friday, Feb. 8. The tribute will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center two nights prior to the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards®.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Carlos Santana has announced he will hit the road with his band across North America this summer for the Supernatural Now tour. The three-month, 29-date celebration will commemorate two of the most important milestones in the iconic guitarist's career: the 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking, multiple Grammy-winning album Supernatural and the 50th anniversary of his momentous performance at Woodstock.

According to Variety, the announcement of the 61st Grammy Nominations will now take place on Friday, December 7 instead of the previously announced Wednesday, December 5. MILES DAVIS: BIRTH OF THE COOL will debut in the Documentary Premieres category at Sundance Film Festival 2019. The feature-length documentary, directed by Emmy Award-winner Stanley Nelson, is a co-production of Eagle Rock Entertainment, Firelight Films, and American Masters Pictures.

Alongside national tour dates, Galleria's The Music Gym will host Bachelor Girl's only Melbourne show, in line with their new single, 'Speak', on Today 28 November.

The Recording Academy will kick off the 61st GRAMMY Awards® nominations by revealing nominees in select categories live on 'CBS This Morning,' Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 8:30 a.m. ET. Immediately following, at 8:45 a.m. ET, the Recording Academy will announce nominations across all 84 categories via press release, GRAMMY.com, and the Recording Academy's social media platforms.

To celebrate the release of her latest album Lovers Rock, the GRAMMY Museum will welcome multi platinum GRAMMY Award-winning UK singer, songwriter, actress, and humanitarian Estelle to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation and performance moderated by GRAMMY Museum Artistic Director Scott Goldman, Monday December 3rd at 7:30pm.
