Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producers Stephen Kocis and Josh Fiedler recently announced details on the cast and creative team of "The Nerd," Larry Shue's outrageously funny comedy, which will run at Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) from June 23 through July 15.

SPACE on Ryder Farm, the non-profit artist residency program located on Ryder Farm, an idyllic 200 year-old working organic farm in Brewster, New York announced its 2017 season for The Working Farm, Family Residency, Creative Solutions Symposium and Artistic Residency programs at The Players Club. In attendance were Greg Hildreth, Vella Lovell, and Colby Minifie, as well as 2017 SPACE residents Dave Malloy, Eliza Bent, and Cusi Cram. Scroll down for photos!

The Directors Company continues its monthly reading series in The Directors Studio.

The Directors Company has announced its monthly reading series in The Directors Studio. The first reading in the series is Desperados a new play by David Epstein, featuring two-time Tony Award Winner James Naughton (Chicago, City of Angels) and Laila Robins (Lucille Lortel nominee, Frozen.) Joining them will be Clea Alsip and Keira Naughton

Theatre enthusiasts will be thrilled by the LaBute New Theater Festival now onstage at 59E59 Theaters. There are four distinctive one-act plays being performed in the venue's intimate theater space through February 5th.

Produced by the St. Louis Actors' Studio, the LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL, an evening of one-act plays, features the NYC premieres of short plays by Gabe McKinley, CaRy Pepper, and Adam Seidel as well as a world premiere short play by Neil LaBute.

Check out the shows coming on at 59E59 Theaters in January and February and a top dining destination close to the theater, Blu on Park.

Due to ticket demand, the LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL is adding a performance on Sunday, January 15 at 7:30 PM.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome the return of St. Louis Actors' Studio with their acclaimed LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL, an evening of one-act plays featuring the NYC premieres of short plays by Neil LaBute, Gabe McKinley, Cary Pepper, andAdam Seidel. Directed by Kel Haney, Michael Hogan, and John Pierson, the LaBUTE NEW THEATER FESTIVAL begins performances on Friday, January 13 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 5.  The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. As of Thursday, June 9, 2016 Bucks County Playhouse's star-studded production of Robert Harling's "Steel Magnolias," under the direction of Oscar nominee Marsha Mason, becomes the highest-grossing show in Bucks County Playhouse's history.

?Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of Sidney Howard's "The Late Christopher Bean," a comedy about paintings left to a family by a deceased artist suddenly skyrocketing in value, on Monday, June 27, at 7 p.m.  The play will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.
