The McCallum Theatre will kick off its 2016-17 season with the Fifth Annual McCallum Theatre Family Fun Day set for Sunday, October 23, 2016 featuring a performance of the critically-acclaimed The Underwater Bubble Show.   Proceeds from this special annual event will support theatre operations including the McCallum Theatre Institute, the Theatre's award-winning arts education program that provides arts training to 40,000 students and educators annually, serving 70% of Coachella Valley classrooms.

Cirque du Soleil has arrived in New York and is in complete set-up mode in preparation for the September 29th premiere of its awe-inspiring production KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities, written and directed by Michel Laprise. Cirque's trademark blue-and-yellow Big Top was raised today by a team of approximately 50 men and women, who worked for several hours to pound 1,200 pegs, hoist more than 100 support poles, unfurl the canvas, and finally raise the roof on the acrobatic and theatrical experience that is KURIOS. The Broadway Loves series makes its eagerly-anticipated return to Feinstein's/54 Below this November with Broadway Loves Britney, a sleek evening of song and dance paying tribute to the princess of pop, Grammy award-winner Britney Spears. The concerts will be produced and musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala (American Psycho) and feature choreography by Sunny Walters, who danced with Spears in various tours, music videos, and television appearances. The concerts will pair Spears' most iconic hits with new dances influenced by her iconic choreography in a thrilling and unique cabaret experience.

Curbside is on the cutting edge of acrobatic theatre in the United States, taking trends in European circus to a new stage with 'Flight' an acrobatic retelling of the classic story The Little Prince. 'Flight' 'makes ingenious use of three actors' bodies' (NY Times) as we bring circus into storytelling in a way rarely seen on a New York stage.
