The play will be presented in a unique space, with limited seating. Theatre Smash, ARC and Canadian Stage are proud to join forces to present the Canadian premiere of KISS by internationally-acclaimed Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderon (screenwriter, Neruda). Directed by Ashlie Corcoran(Artistic Director, Theatre Smash) with Associate Director Christopher Stanton (Artistic Producer, ARC), KISS will be on stage from March 28 to April 16 at the intimate Berkeley Street Upstairs Theatre. An award-winning actress, playwright and dancer, Majumdar wrote, choreographed and performs in this powerful coming of age piece. Commissioned and produced by Nightswimming with additional development support by Young People's Theatre and The Banff Centre, Boys With Cars will be presented on YPT's Mainstage from March 23 to April 1, 2017. Canada's 23rd annual SummerWorks Performance Festival wrapped up another successful year with an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding artistic achievements at the Closing Night Party, held at The Theatre Centre (1115 Queen Street West).
