Tickets will be available exclusively through The New York Times beginning Sunday, November 13, 2011, through Wednesday, November 30, 2011. In addition, The New York Times will offer a free 12 week digital subscription to NYTimes.com and smartphone app with every order.

It's official! Ghost The Musical, currently running in London's West End, will open on Broadway on Monday, April 23, 2012 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street). Preview performances will begin in March.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's world premiere production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical will transfer to London's Cambridge Theatre, previewing from Tuesday 18 October. Bertie Carvel (Miss Trunchbull), Paul Kaye (Mr Wormwood) Josie Walker (Mrs Wormwood) and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey) will reprise their roles alongside Marc Antolin, Verity Bentham, Peter Howe, Michael Kent, Melanie La Barrie, Matthew Malthouse, Alastair Parker, Nick Searle and Emily Shaw who also appeared in the original production in Stratford. Earlier this month, Ghost the Musical announced that it was releasing an additional 350,000 tickets for sale, as the show officially extended bookings in the West End until October 2012. Today, the New York Times has confirmed earlier reports and rumors and it's now official that the show will open on Broadway in April of 2012 at a 'Nederlander Theater to be determined.' There is no specific word yet on casting, dates, etc.

Michael Riedel reports in the New York Post this morning that The Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical, which is slated to transfer to London's Cambridge Theatre on October 18 of this year, is lined up for Broadway in 2013. Riedel explains that Matilda director Matthew Wachus is hoping to bring the show in then so that he can focus on moving his other West End property, Ghost, to Broadway next season.

Today, 1 August 2011, over 350,000 tickets are released for sale at the Piccadilly Theatre for the West End production of Ghost The Musical, taking bookings to 13 October 2012. Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy lead the cast playing Sam and Molly in Matthew Warchus' stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film who are accompanied by Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl.
