The Mystery of Edwin Drood is playing a limited engagement at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street) through March 10th, 2013. The original end date was February 10th, 2013. Yesterday the cast gatherd at DRG Records to record the cast album of the new 2012 Broadway production. The cast album will be a two-disc set that will also include a new Act Two opening number, additional ballet music from Puffer's opium den, an additional Act One track not previously recorded and eight tracks featuring the confession of each murderer.

Family Fun Night is the perfect time for kids who want to see A Christmas Carol at Hartford Stage, but might be a little scared. Before the show, our spooky ghosts will greet and entertain for kids, so they can see the ghosts are not that scary after all. All kids 12 and under will get a free bag of popcorn before the show and light wands will be sold before the show so that kids can turn them on during the performance when the ghosts come out. After the show, get autographs from some of your favorite characters!

Tony and Olivier Award-winner John Caird (Les Misérables and Nicholas Nickleby), West End rising star Sam Caird, and Tony nominee Paul Gordon (Jane Eyre) recently arrived in Ventura to begin rehearsals for a new holiday musical entitled LITTLE MISS SCROOGE, which will be presented as a limited-run staged concert for Rubicon Theatre subscribers, December 12 through 23, 2012. To many, a one-man dramatic reading of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol seems like an entirely new and unique spin on the classic work. However, Charles Dickens himself employed this approach to presenting his work, performing public dramatic readings in England. Then in 1867, Charles Dickens went to the United States for his second time and toured his dramatic reading for 6 months, giving 400 performances.
