CMT has signed on as the exclusive live video streaming partner for Clear Channel's first-ever 'iHeartRadio Country Festival' this Saturday, March 29, as the show will be streamed across CMT.com and the recently launched CMT Artists App beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT. CMT's Cody Alan will host the livestream straight from the heart of Austin, Texas, as CMT brings the music of iHeartRadio to its fans with performances by Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church, Lady Antebellum, Hunter Hayes, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen and Dan+Shay. The festival will be hosted by nationally-syndicated country music personality Bobby Bones.

Outdoor summer entertainment venue Music by the Lake announces the 2014 concert season presenting six artist debuts and a range of musical genres including contemporary, children's music, classic rock and swing. No fewer than three musical incarnations of the most famous love story of all time, Romeo and Juliet, will be featured, with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performing Tchaikovsky's Overture-Fantasy (July 27), a suite from Prokofiev's ballet setting of the story (July 16) and the score of West Side Story as the classic film is shown (July 17-18). In other examples of love, soprano Deborah Voigt describes it as 'Something Wonderful' on a Broadway evening (July 13), the legendary Broadway team of Lerner and Loewe will be celebrated (July 20), and Chanticleer even jabs at the battle of the sexes in an evening titled 'She Said/He Said' (July 6). In fact, love lurks, longs and lingers across genres in most of the more than 130 events that Ravinia will present in 2014, its 110th year and its 78th as the summer residence of the CSO.

Fame and Philanthropy Oscar Night Event announced today that Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum artist and founder of the Compound Foundation, NE-YO, will be performing live at the historic event. NBC's live music event THE SOUND OF MUSIC: LIVE! may have been seen by millions and became a hit around the country with replayed airings and the newly available DVD and CD, yet the most commemorative item yet has been unveiled byway of a new artistic rendering of the production given to the cast members earlier this week.

According to the Daily Mail, Maria Agatha Franziska Gobertina von Trapp, the real-life, second-oldest daughter of Georg Ludwig von Trapp and Agatha Whitehead von Trapp, has passed away. She was the last member of the von Trapp Family Singers, who inspired the musical and film versions of THE SOUND OF MUSIC. She was 99.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 19 Recordings has filed a lawsuit against Sony Music for withholding millions of dollars in royalties from its artists, who include Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, Christ Daughtry and more. The lawsuit is seeking $10 million in damages.
