DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions, Ltd. brought SHREK THE MUSICAL to the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway @ 53rd St) on Sunday, December 14, 2008. Preview performances began on Saturday, November 8, 2008. The cast album from Universal/Decca Broadway will be released March 24th, 2009.

On Friday, February 17th, the cast of Broadway's SHREK THE MUSICAL will perform on ABC?s ?The View.? Brian d?Arcy James and Sutton Foster will first perform ?I?ve Got You Beat? and then join the company (also featuring Daniel Breaker and John Tartaglia) in performing ?Freak Flag.? ?The View? airs nationally on ABC (channel 7, WABC in the tri-state area). The Actors Fund presents a Special Performance of Shrek The Musical on 3/15/2009. The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment.
