This morning (Thursday, Feb. 19) Clark County named Feb. 19 "MDQ Vegas Day" in honor of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET's second anniversary on the Las Vegas Strip. County Commissioner Chris Giunchigliani joined the cast in celebration of the occasion onstage in the Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas for a presentation of the proclamation. The cast and crew of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET shared their thanks and appreciation with the commissioner and were joined by friends and family in honor of the special day.

The 2nd Annual Ameripolitan Music Awards took place last night at the historic Paramount Theatre, 713 Congress Avenue in downtown Austin, presented by Lone Star and Fender Guitars, with winners in classic country music categories as Honky Tonk, Western Swing, Rockabilly and Outlaw.
