Ed Stern Directs NOISES OFF Opening May 18

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company closes their Debut Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with Noises Off, by Michael Frayn. The production is directed by Ed Stern, the former Artistic Director of the Playhouse in the Park, The cast features CSC's Producing Artistic Director, Brian Isaac Phillips, as well as Dale Hodges, Joneal Joplin, Jeremy Dubin, Kelly Mengelkoch, Justin McCombs, and Brooke Steele. Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues the Debut Season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with William Shakespeare's Othello. The production will be directed by Christopher V. Williams, who also directed last season's highly-praised A Raisin in the Sun at CSC, and will feature founding company member Nicholas Rose at Iago, as well as newcomer to CSC William Oliver Watkins as Othello, and CSC Resident Ensemble Member Courtney Lucien as Desdemona.  Othello is generously sponsored by Matson Money and Pete Strange Family.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company continues its debut season at The Otto M. Budig Theater with Dracula by Steven Dietz, from the novel by Bram Stoker opening Friday October 13. The production runs through November 4, and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips. Longtime ensemble member Giles Davies reprises his role as Dracula, alongside Artistic Associate Miranda McGee as Lucy, Jim Hopkins as Van Helsing, Crystian Wiltshire as Jonathan Harker, Caitlin McWethy as Mina, Billy Chace as Renfield, and Kyle Brumley as Dr. Seward. All seats in the new Otto M. Budig Theater are less than 20 feet from the stage so audiences will be amazed at how close to the passion they will be!

The Otto M. Budig Theater, the new custom-built home of the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in Over-the-Rhine, opens on September 8 with A Midsummer Night's Dream. The production runs through September 30 and is directed by Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips. The cast features longtime resident ensemble members Matthew Lewis Johnson as Bottom, Giles Davies as Oberon, Associate Artist Miranda McGee as Titania, and Associate Artistic Director Sara Clark as Puck. Interested in regaining his dukedom, Prospero orchestrates a shipwreck amidst a storm, which open the play.
