Tony-Winner Mary Louise Parker announces the nominations along with Bruce Willis, who's soon-to-be making his Broadway debut this fall in a new stage adaptation of the Stephen King novel, Misery. John Gore and Broadway Across America saluted FINDING NEVERLAND director Diane Paulus yesterday (Thursday, April 23) with a lunch at the Lambs Club to celebrate her contributions to Broadway and the road, hot off the heels of this week's announcement of the Finding Neverland tour, beginning in October 2016. 

Chideo, the charity network, and country music legend Clint Black want to find the next great American singer-songwriter, and hope to generate a whole lot of support for Rettsyndrome.org in the process.

Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment, and Madison Gate Records, the in-house record label of Sony Pictures Entertainment, have announced the release of Songs of Aloha (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

MANN... AND WIFE, a new musical by Douglas J. Cohen and Dan Elish based on Elish's novel Nine Wives, will receive its world premiere at Lyric's Plaza Theatre in February of 2016. This musical will continue the new works initiative started in 2014 with TRIANGLE by Tom Mizer, Curtis Moore, and Joshua Scher and continuing in October 2015 with BERNICE BOBS HER HAIR by Adam Gwon and Julia Jordan.

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.
