Vegas based comedian Don Barnhart and his Battle Comics – Comedy Tour will once again suit up to bring their laughter to the troops serving in the US Armed Forces in 2016.

Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant inside MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, invites guests to celebrate the arrival of 2016 with an exclusive New Year's Eve dining experience Thursday, December 31.

Some years back, I was lounging around on a weekend, bored, desperately looking for something to watch on TV. I browsed the channels, getting more and more discouraged the higher and higher they went. Then, a show on one of the classic channels caught my eye. There was Dick Van Dyke, sitting on a couch, mid-somersault. I instantly started cracking up. I couldn't help but hysterically laugh for the rest of the episode, so naturally I continued to watch the hours-long marathon that I accidentally stumbled upon. 

UP Comedy Club, 230 W. North Avenue, known for bringing top stand-up comedy talent to Chicago, announces a month long series of all-stars: Rachel Feinstein, Jan. 7-9; Chris Redd & Megan Gailey, Jan. 15-17; Kate Berlant & John Early, Jan. 21-23; and Sean Patton, Jan. 28-30. Each show includes a feature stand-up comic and a local emcee that hosts the evening. Each headliner is set to perform Thursday 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. & 10:30 p.m. (with the exception of Chris Redd & Megan Gailey set to perform Friday - Sunday).
