For almost 45 years, Nathan Adelson Hospice, the largest and only nonprofit hospice in Nevada, has cared for people, regardless of their ability to pay. Talented doctors and first responders, along with providing exemplary health care, will perform for the organization’s 27th Annual Serenades of Life – Doctors in Concert inside Myron’s at The Smith Center on Sept. 8.

Actors Jackie Osorio, Noah F. Madril and Emily Trujillo join the critically acclaimed 2018 LA production of The Diary of Anne Frank in the roles of Mr. & Mrs. Van Daan and Margot Frank. The revival, which garnered international attention with its predominately LatinX cast, will run for four performances September 17 at A Place Called Home and September 19-21 at the Colony Theatre.

Celebrities lending their support for this year’s fundraising special included Elizabeth Banks, Jessica Biel, Don Cheadle, Katie Couric, Danai Gurira, Tony Hale, Ken Jeong, Queen Latifah, Maria Menounos, Julianne Moore, Tig Notaro, Jimmy Smits, Eric Stonestreet and Justin Timberlake. In the U.S., SU2C is still gratefully accepting donations.

Broadway legend Bernadette Peters is returning to television in “High Desert,” Apple's latest comedy series. Apple TV+ has unveiled the video trailer for “High Desert,” the new eight-episode dark comedy starring Patricia Arquette, who also serves as executive producer, and featuring Tony winner Bernadette Peters. The series also includes Matt Dillon, Christine Taylor, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Rupert Friend and Keir O’Donnell.

Tony winner Marissa Jaret Winokur has joined BUPKIS as a guest star. The series will also feature La La Anthony, Charlamagne Tha God, Colson Baker (Machine Gun Kelly), Steve Buscemi, Bobby Cannavale, Philip Ettinger, Al Gore, Paul Walter Hauser, Sunita Mani, John Mulaney, Oona Roche, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, and Jon Stewart.

The 19th Annual College of Fine Arts Hall of Fame will honor those who have significantly impacted performing art, visual arts, and architecture in Southern Nevada. Iconic comedy club owner, Emmy, and SAG Award-winning actor, comedian, and writer, Brad Garrett, is known for his role as Robert Barone on the television series Everybody Loves Raymond. The gala celebration will be held in the Ballroom in the UNLV Student Union at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, on March 21.

Pete Davidson (SNL, The King of Staten Island) wrote, executive produced and stars in the show. It also stars Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos) as Davidson’s mom and Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) as Davidson’s grandfather. Guest stars include Charlie Day, Brad Garrett, Simon Rex, Ray Romano, Kenan Thompson and Chase Sui Wonders.
