Broadway In Chicago is pleased to announce that individual tickets for the Tony Award winning smash-hit CHICAGO go on-sale to the public starting today, Dec. 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The show returns to its title city for a limited one-week engagement at Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe) from Feb. 25 - March 2, 2014.

After a 10-year hiatus, the sensational, world-renowned Rennie Harris, believed by many to be the best living hip-hop dancer/artist on earth, will return to The Joyce Theater with his company Rennie Harris Puremovement from January 28 - February 2, 2014 to perform a program that features the most exciting, compelling and acclaimed pieces from the company's repertoire. The producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN just announced that Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Annie Potts ("Designing Women," God of Carnage) will assume the role of "Berthe" in the production beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh will play her final performance in the role on Sunday, January 19th. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

Happy Birthday, Graciela Daniele! As a performer, Daniele made her Broadway debut in What Makes Sammy Run? in 1964. She studied with Martha Graham and Merce Cunningham while working with such luminaries as Bob Fosse, Agnes de Mille, and Michael Bennett, who hired her to assist him with Follies in 1971. Her first credit as a full-fledged choreographer was the 1979 revival of The Most Happy Fella. She has directed and/or choreographed several musicals of Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty, including, most recently, The Glorious Ones (2007) and Dessa Rose (2005) at the Off-Broadway Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater at Lincoln Center. She has directed and/or choreographed several musicals of Michael John LaChiusa Off-Broadway, most recently Bernarda Alba (2006) and Little Fish (2003).

The producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN have announced that the show has officially recouped its $8.5 million capitalization costs as of the Sunday, December 1, 2013 performance. The show also broke the Music Box Theatre house record last week for the highest grossing single performance on the evening of Friday, November 29th with $151,219. The record was then broken again on the evening of Saturday, November 30th with $151,977 gross sales. Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's Tony Award winning musical comedy PIPPIN is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). The production is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

The Fred Ebb Foundation in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company presents the ninth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, is presented by Joel Grey tonight, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.
