Grammy-nominated jazz pianist Greg Loughman will lead The Greg Loughman Trio at the Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on Thursday, September 7, 2023.

Lois Braverman, President & CEO, Ackerman Institute for the Family, announced today the honorees and host for the Moving Families Forward annual gala which will take place at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel at 301 Park Avenue on Monday, October 26th in New York City.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) raised a record $10.4 million last night at its Spring Gala honoring Hearst Corporation, as announced by Katherine Farley, chair of Lincoln Center. The event, attended by more than 500 people, lauded Hearst President and CEO Steven R. Swartz, and Executive Vice-chairman and former CEO, Frank A. Bennack, Jr. for the enormous and varied contributions to Lincoln Center made by them as well as by their company. Both men serve on Lincoln Center's Board of Directors; Mr. Bennack was chairman of Lincoln Center from 2005 through 2010, and Mr. Swartz is currently chairman of Lincoln Center's Corporate Fund.

Gary Jenkins All-Stars with Eddie Baccus Sr. will perform this weekend, June 14 and 15, at the DC JAZZ FEST. The groups will play both 8pm and 10pm sets at the Twins Jazz Club.

The Blue Moon Ball event raised more than $50,000 to support the work of Chicago Dramatists, dedicated to the development and advancement of playwrights and new plays.
