BroadwayCon has announced the annual Call for Programming is now open! Broadway fans are invited to submit programming proposals for BroadwayCon 2018.

BroadwayCon has just announed that Sierra Boggess, Drew Gasparini, Rodney Hicks, Patrick Hinds, and Chris McCarrell have joined the Special Guest lineup for BroadwayCon 2018.

Broadway Sessions celebrated it's season finale recently. Nobody panic! Broadway Sessions will be back weekly beginning on September 7th. But of course we had to blow the roof of the joint 1 more time before parting. So we called upon friends, Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen), Kimber Elayne Sprawl (Beautiful), Lauren Elder (Side Show) and Matt DeAngelis (Waitress) to dazzle us 1 last time this summer. Time really does fly, especially when you're having fun. And, let's be honest, we have a lot of fun at Broadway Sessions. So much so that nine years has flown by ever so quickly. And what better way to celebrate nine years of hurt special brand of musical theatre mania than with an "Inappropriate" Anniversary Show. We welcomed back a roster of Broadway Sessions favorites to share wildly inappropriate tunes and memories. The results were memorable, well, for most of our audience at least ;)

On Sunday, June 18th, songwriter Britt Bonney will present an evening of her music at the Laurie Beechman Theatre, performed by several Broadway veterans. Audiences will hear a special preview of Britt's newest show Montgomery, featuring Janelle McDermoth as civil rights leader Jo Ann Robinson and Brynn Williams as 15-year-old Claudette Colvin. The concert, entitled "Make a Move: The Music of Britt Bonney," will also include songs written in collaboration with Nadav Wiesel, Anna Marquardt, and David Ballard.

The party's over... The American Theatre Wing's 71st Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Tony and Academy Award-winning actor Kevin Spacey, aired live from Radio City Music Hall last night, honoring theatre professionals for distinguished achievement on Broadway and wrapping up the 2016-17 awards season.
