Nicholas Martin announced today the remainder of the 2010 Season for Williamstown Theatre Festival (WTF), the 56th season, and final one under Martin's tenure as WTF Artistic Director.

Bay Street @ The Parrish is back with two hilarious shows coming to the intimate space at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton. This year Bay Street @ The Parrish opens its summer season with MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY, running for 2 weekends only-Fridays and Saturdays July 23- 24 and July 30-31. In MY SON THE WAITER, A JEWISH TRAGEDY, Brad Zimmerman weaves an intricate and bittersweet tale of one man's lengthy struggle to make it as an actor in New York. Part theatre, part stand-up, his homey send-ups on his childhood, family, career and misbegotten love life are as warm and poignant as they are hilarious.

It's the last chance to buy tickets for David Alan Grier, a master of all entertainment genres - theatre, television, film and radio. Grier will be performing at Bay Street Theatre on Monday, July 19 at 8 pm.

Producer Daryl Roth announces that following a sold out developmental run last spring, THE DIVINE SISTER, the new comedy written by and starring Charles Busch, directed by Carl Andress, will transfer to the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) featuring the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker, and Julie Halston.

Bay Street's Summer Comedy Club continues with late-night comedy favorite Jake Johannsen live on Monday, July 12th at 8 PM on the Bay Street stage.

Bay Street Theatre has announced its scheduled performers for its summer Comedy Club series. Among others, David Alan Grier is set to appear on July 19.

A favorite of late-night legend David Letterman (for whom he's appeared over 30 times), JAKE JOHANNSEN has also been a guest on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Politically Incorrect.

Bay Street's FIFTH OF JULY begins previews Tuesday, July 6th through Friday, July 9th, with opening night Saturday, July 10th. The show runs Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm, with matinees on Wednesdays at 2pm and Saturdays at 4pm except during preview week. On Tuesday, July 13th following the performance there will be a talkback with the actors. The show will close on Sunday, August 1st. Please note that this performance will contain partial nudity. Bay Street Theatre is happy to present three different summer camp opportunities with spots filling quickly! Each week-long session will be held at Nova's Ark in Water Mill from 2pm - 4:30pm daily for kids ages 8 - 12. Children can sign up for one week or all three weeks.

Producers Jed Bernstein and Adam Zotovich announced today that Tony Award-winners James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave will return to the New York stage this Fall to star opposite one another in the Broadway Premiere of Alfred Uhry‘s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Driving Miss Daisy. Directed by David Esbjornson (The Goat, Or Who Is Sylvia?), Driving Miss Daisy will begin performances on October 7, 2010, at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), with an official opening on Monday, October 25, 2010.

DISSONANCE, written by BBC writer Damian Lanigan, opened with a bang in its New York Premiere on the Bay Street stage on Saturday, June 5th. This multi-layered and engrossing play featuring a gorgeous, young rock star that ruffles the feathers of an already conflicted string quartet is Bay Street's first Main Stage production of the 2010 Summer Season and runs through June 27th.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) presents the world premiere of the musical Johnny Baseball by Richard Dresser, Robert Reale, and Willy Reale, directed by Diane Paulus. The production begins performances on May 16 and runs through June 27, 2010 at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Harvard Square, Cambridge.
