Signature Theatre presents the world premiere of HEARTLESS by Sam Shepard and directed by Daniel Aukin. All tickets for the initial run of the production are $25 as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. The production runs August 7 through September 16, 2012 with an August 27 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Jeremy Kushnier to Return to JERSEY BOYS in October!

Jeremy Kushnier will step into the role of Tommy DeVito in the Broadway cast of JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning smash hit musical, at the August Wilson Theatre on Tuesday, October 9, 2012. Andy Karl, who currently plays Tommy DeVito, will play his final performance on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

BRONTË Receives Open-Ended Run at Actors Temple Theatre

The company recently staged a successful limited engagement production of the play - a biographical treatment based on correspondence between Charlotte and her life long friend Ellen Nussey, in May at Theater 511.

The William Inge Theatre Festival has a long rich history of honoring great living playwrights, acknowledging these too-often underappreciated creative heroes of the stage. But the 32nd annual Inge Festival in 2013 changes pace: honoring its namesake American icon William Inge, to celebrate the centennial of his birth. The William Inge Theatre Festival at Independence Community College takes place May 1-4 of 2013, in Inge's rural hometown of Independence, Kansas, where, annually, Broadway and Hollywood artists meet on the prairie to mingle with visitors from more than 24 states.

Diane Lane to Lead David Cromer-Helmed SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH at Goodman Theatre This Fall

Artistic Director Robert Falls announced today that he will direct a major revival and new adaptation of Measure for Measure, Shakespeare's darkly comic collision of vice and virtue, in Goodman Theatre's 2012/2013 season, March 9 - April 14, 2013. Also, director David Cromer announced partial casting for his production of Sweet Bird of Youth: Oscar, Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-nominee Diane Lane appears as Princess Kosmonopolis and Finn Wittrock, who recently appeared in Broadway's Death of a Salesman with Philip Seymour Hoffman, is cast as the young-actor-turned-gigolo Chance Wayne. Complete casting to be announced soon. The production opens the Goodman's new season, September 15 - October 21; a September 24 Season Opening Benefit will take place at The Standard Club. On July 3, the Broadway company of JERSEY BOYS welcomed back John Lloyd Young, who created the role of Frankie Valli in the original Broadway company and on the Grammy-winning, platinum cast album. for his performance, Mr. Young won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award for Leading Actor in a Musical and a Theatre World Award.
