Today, SHOWTIME announced that prominent political strategist and commentator Steve Schmidt will join the network's heralded weekly political docuseries THE CIRCUS as a recurring on-air contributor when the show returns on Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Schmidt has made previous appearances on THE CIRCUS, offering trenchant insight based on his more than two decades working at the highest levels of national Republican politics. The Film Arcade today announced it has secured the US rights to the hilarious heart-warming comedy, FAMILY, written and directed by Laura Steinel. The film premiered at SXSW 2018 and stars Taylor Schilling ( Netflix's “Orange is the New Black”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”), Jessie Ennis (LIFE OF THE PARTY) and newcomer Bryn Vale. Additional cast includes Matt Walsh (HBO's “Veep”), Allison Tolman (“Fargo”) and Eric Edelstein (JURASSIC WORLD).  FAMILY is set to be released theatrically by The Film Arcade in Spring 2019.
