Today (July 23) in live streaming: a Cinderella Reunion, the Fame gang is back together, and so much more!

Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley announced today that the High School of Performing Arts class of 1980, better known as the original stars of 'Fame,' will celebrate their 40 year reunion on 'Stars In The House' LIVE Thursday, July 23nd at 8 PM ET on the Stars In The House YouTube channel.

NYTB/ChamberWorks' founding artistic director Diana Byer, having reimagined the company as an entirely digital outfit in the first week of the New York City shutdown, streaming an all-Antony Tudor program on March 19, today announces the newest additions to NYTB's slate of online performances and classes.

NYTB/Chamber Works (Diana Byer, Founder and Artistic Director) announces its return to Danspace Project with their REP program (February 13 - 15), this year featuring two world premieres: Robert La Fosse's A Soldier's Tale and Antonia Franceschi's untitled new work. The program also features Sir Richard Alston's company premiere of Shimmer and Pam Tanowitz's Double Andante.

This fall 92Y and New York Theatre Ballet begin a collaboration bringing pre-professional training and performance opportunities to 92Y's School of Dance. The new program-known as NYTB at 92Y (NYTB/92Y)-is open to students starting at age 7, with curriculum based on the Cecchetti syllabus. This new collaboration is in addition to the wide array of classes for all ages and levels in ballet, modern, hip-hop, tap, jazz and more already offered at 92Y's School of Dance.

At the inviting New York Live Arts Theater, New York Theatre Ballet presented their Uptown/Downtown/Dance series on March 3, 2017.  Now in their 38th Season, the company stands apart within the larger ballet community for its grasp on classical technique that mingles with undercurrents of modern dance vocabulary. But the program's pacing left something to be desired, as the excitement and delight peaked before intermission.

New York Theatre Ballet (NYTB) returns to New York Live Arts with its new Uptown/Downtown/Dance series from March 1-4, 2017 at 7:30pm with an additional 2pm matinee on Saturday. This year's program features a revival of Nijinsky's L'Apres-Midi d'un Faune staged by the 98-year-old Ann Hutchinson Guest, a new and as-of-yet untitled pas de trois by Pam Tanowitz, Frederick Ashton's La Chatte métamorphoses en femme, and Antonia Franceschi's She Holds Out Her Hand which premiered at Danspace in Fall 2016. All pieces will be performed to live music. A post-show celebration with wine, hors d'oeuvres, and music will be held after the opening night performance for which tickets are $75. Due to popular demand, the Signature Theatre production of The Death of the Last Black Man in the Whole Entire World AKA the Negro Book of the Dead, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, has been extended an additional week. The production will now run through December 18, 2016 at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues).

Musical theater fanatic, cruise ship performer and celebrity stalker Lance has invited Cher and Andrew Lloyd Webber to be guests on his international hit show Late with Lance!, but they've yet to confirm. However, original Fame star Antonia Franceshi has, and will be sitting down to chat with Lance about her life after Fame as a celebrated ballet dancer and teacher.

New York Theatre Ballet announces the 2015-16 season, which will include repertory performances at Schimmel Center at Pace University (September 19-20, 2015), Danspace Project (October 1-3, 2015), and New York Live Arts (February 24-27, 2016).

New York Theatre Ballet celebrates 35 years with LEGENDS at Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street, NYC. LEGENDS, the second of two programs in the series LEGENDS AND VISIONARIES, performs tonight, May 9 and Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 7pm.

Ballet NY, founded in 1997 by Artistic Directors Medhi Bahiri and Judith Fugate, offered an opportunity to four emerging choreographers to work with classically trained dancers and present company premieres on April 16th at the Ailey Citi Group Theater.
