Following a successful extended run of Love, Loss, and What I Wore and the upcoming performances of Dick Van Dyke - Step in Time! - A Musical Memoir, the Geffen Playhouse welcomes two more productions this season into its intimate Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater: In Mother Words, a moving collection of stories on the universal subject of motherhood by award-winning contemporary playwrights, and Extraordinary Chambers, a world premiere by David Wiener about the consequences of a couple's trip to Cambodia.

Count Dracula, the world's most famous vampire, returns to the New York stage in DRACULA by Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston, based on the eponymous novel by Bram Stoker, set to begin previews December 14, prior to its official press opening January 5 at the Little Shubert Theatre (442 West 42nd Street). Oxygen Media and Casting Duo, in association with Robert Ulrich, casting director of 'Glee,' will begin the casting search for 'The Glee Project' with open calls in Chicago on Saturday, December 18 and Sunday, December 19 and in Dallas on Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 9. Aside from these open calls, the team will also be reaching out to the next wave of professional performers through official industry channels in order to ensure everyone is included in this opportunity. 'The Glee Project,' where performers will compete for a multi-episode guest-starring role on season three of hit series 'Glee,' will premiere on Oxygen in June 2011.

Michael Riedel of the New York Post is reporting today that there's not one, but two attempts to bring Dracula, which was last seen on Broadway in 1977 back to New York City.
