The CW has revealed a first look at Tyler Hoechlin as 'Superman' in the upcoming season of “SUPERGIRL”.

The CW Network announced today it will broadcast the entire first season of SUPERGIRL on Monday nights starting August 1, with two episodes each week until the new season of SUPERGIRL premieres on October 10 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

Everybody Wants Some!'s Tyler Hoechlin has been cast as Superman in SUPERGIRL. The series, formerly on CBS, heads to The CW, airing Mondays (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) beginning this fall.

Casting is currently underway for the role Clark Kent/Superman for the second season of SUPERGIRL, heading to Monday nights on The CW this fall.

ETonline.com reports that with Supergirl heading to The CW this fall, after anchoring Mondays on CBS in its first season, star Melissa Benoist is quite excited about the transition.

The CW Network presented its 2016-17 schedule to advertisers, affiliates and national media at New York City Center in New York City today, kicked off by the rock band Fitz and the Tantrums performing their hit singles “Handclap” and “The Walker.”

The new CBS action-adventure drama SUPERGIRL, starring GLEE's Melissa Benoist in the title role and Jeremy Jordan (SMASH, NEWSIES) as Winslow 'Winn' Schott, will move to The CW Network in the fall.
