Route 66 Theatre Company announces an exciting 2015-2016 Season. In their seventh year as a company and third year as a resident company at Greenhouse Theater Center, Route 66 Theatre Company will present two Chicago premiere plays, a world premiere, the second year of its new play development workshop, Test Drive, and its continued Monthly Reading Series, The Driver's Seat at Murphy's Irish Bistro.

FROZEN is aiming to hit the stage by 2017. According to a report by the Daily Mail, the movie musical's Oscar-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez met with the film's writer and co-director Jennifer Lee, head of Disney Theatricals Thomas Schumacher, and Broadway and West End director Alex Timbers to discuss their options.

The music of singer/composer Alex Maxwell comes to NYC's premier cabaret venue Stage 72 at the Triad, on April 4th @ 7PM in his original show 'Alex Maxwell Plays With Himself, . . . Tonight'. The one-man show features Maxwell accompanying himself in an evening that presents a full set of original solo tracks by the Jersey artist who has recently migrated to the city. The Daily Mail writes that Natascha McElhone will star in the upcoming stage adaptation of FATAL ATTRACTION, which originally featured Glenn Close on the big screen in 1987 in the role of 'Alex', an unhinged woman who becomes obsessed with a man after a weekend fling.

After multiple sold out shows in NY, musical pop songwriter Joey Contreras takes on L.A. for his West Coast concert debut on February 10th. Billed as Joey Contreras and Friends, the Rockwell: Table and Stage concert will feature songs from his ?rst album, Love Me, Love Me Not as well as offer a sneak peak of his upcoming record, Young Kind of Love. Audiences of all ages will be able to relate to the stories and adventures of Joey's emotionally-driven and musically infectious tunes.
