The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center presents what could easily be the gayest night of comedy ever. One of the stars of LOGO's The Big Gay Sketch Show (Julie Goldman) teams up with the cult superstar "The Gay Pimp" (Jonny McGovern, also of The Big Gay Sketch Show) at the Center's Renberg Theatre on Friday, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. Net proceeds will benefit the full range of the Center's free and low-cost programs and services.

Dixon Place will present the music of Greencard Wedding and La Lucha Art Group's production of PORNING THE PLANET - THE DE-SENSITIZATION OF A NATION, A Works in Progress Solo Showing, Written/Performed by Raquel Almazan, Directed by Penny Arcade. It will take place tonight, December 8th at 7:30 pm at Dixon Place at 161A Chyrstie Street. Lounge bar is open before and after the show.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the acclaimed gay comedy/variety show - will continue its fourth season on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at The Duplex in New York's West Village. According to Time Out New York, 'The Meeting* has become a cult hit among a young, festive and culturally aware crowd. Sayre is an avatar of modern-retro cultivation.'

Casting is complete for the world premiere of Amandine, the new musical from writer Winter Miller, 13P founding member who penned In Darfur (The Public Theater), among other acclaimed plays; Emmy Award-winning composer Lance Horne, who is known for his own work and collaborations with Alan Cumming, Amanda Palmer, Meow Meow, Sandra Bernhard and Justin Vivian Bond; and Drama Desk Award-winning director Josh Hecht (Christine Jorgensen Reveals). The production will run January 9-26, 2013 at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) main stage. Critics are welcome as of January 13 for an official opening on January 16.

Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays is a star-studded benefit concert on Saturday, December 8th at New York City's historic Beacon Theatre to help raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth homelessness and support the True Colors Fund's Forty to None Project.

The concert will feature the world premier of 'Sea of Tranquility,' specially commissioned to honor the memory of astronaut Neil Armstrong who passed away earlier this year.
