Star of 'Murder She Wrote' and the current Broadway hit 'Blithe Spirit' Angela Lansbury will introduce the NPR broadcasts. The great mystery series will include a special live broadcast on Saturday, August 15th of 4 American premiere Agatha Christie stage classics performed in front of live audience members during the 2009 International Mystery Writers' Festival in Owensboro, KY.

detective's search for a killer before the guests are all murdered. The Mousetrap will

Over the past 18 months, the Mystery Festival has hosted such talent as Gene Hackman, Mary Higgins Clark, Josh Hutcherson (Journey to Center of the Earth), Anthony E. Zuiker (creator of C.S.I.), Rene' Balcer (creator of Law and Order :Criminal Intent), Bill Link (creator - Columbo and Murder She Wrote) Sue Grafton (The Alphabet Mysteries) and a dozen of others. All took active parts in a number of duties & activities during the Festivals.

Lakewood Theatre Company will celebrate its 57th anniversary season with six productions beginning July 10, 2009. Season tickets for the 2009-2010 season are on sale now and prices range from $140.00 - $150.00. Performances for the new season will be Thursday -Saturday at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 7:00 PM and some Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM.
