Seattle Public Theater rings in the new year with the fourth production of its 2017-18 Season with the musical comedy-fantasy Vanishing Point. Aviatrix Amelia Earhart, evangelist Aimee Semple McPherson, and author Agatha Christie all have one thing in common: they were women who vanished mysteriously. Christie walked out of her life in 1926 and was discovered at a hotel 11 days later with no recollection of what happened.
PETE REX Turns 59E59 Theaters into Off-Broadway's Jurassic Park in February

Thompson and directed by Brad Raimondo. PETE REX begins performances on Thursday, February 8 for a limited engagement through Saturday, March 3. Press Opening is Thursday, February 15 at 7:30 PM. During 2018, the Finborough Theatre celebrates 150 years of the Finborough Theatre building with an anniversary selection of the best plays from 1868. The FINBOROUGH150 series opens with the first London production since 1890 of Cyril's Success by playwright and local resident Henry J. Byron playing for nine Sunday and Monday evenings and Tuesday matinees from Sunday, 4 February 2018 (Press Night: Monday, 5 February 2018 at 7.30pm).
River St Theatre to Host Screenings of CROOKED HOUSE

Crooked House was first published in 1949 and was the forty-ninth mystery novel written by Agatha Christie. The UK's Observer called it one of her best seven delicious red herrings infinite suspense. A new film adaption written by Downton Abbey creator Lord Julian Fellowes has just been released. Agatha Christie's Crooked House stars Glenn Close and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Dark Places, Sarah's Key, Pretty Things). The suspense thriller will play at Jaffrey's River Street Theatre this Friday, January 5 through Sunday, January 7.

For the past several years, the Long Beach Playhouse has offered its upstairs Studio Theatre, to individuals and theater groups to mount their own shows. There is a nominal cost and tickets sales are split between the presenting group or individual and the Playhouse. Most shows last just one weekend and some are only one night. The offerings range from original works to improv and a recreation of Hal Holbrook's Mark Twain Tonight.
