Is an award winning playwright and actress whose Broadway credits include Martha Jefferson in "1776" and Grace Farrell in "Annie". Nominated for a 1992 Tony Award for her lyrics for the Broadway musical "Metro". OFF BROADWAY: Book and lyrics with Jan Fairchild composing: "Cradle Song", Musical Theatre Works, Goodspeed At Chester, Theatre at St. Peter's Church, NYC. Contributing writer: "A My Name is Still Alice": Old Globe Theatre, Second Stage, NYC. REGIONAL: Book and lyrics: "Brimstone", N.E.A. development grant, 1993. Productions: Berkshire Theatre Festival 1994, Willows Theatre, 1998, Majestic Theatre, 2002, Willows Theatre 2010. Recipient of nine Bay Area Critics' Awards including "Best Musical". It takes a trip to a strange-yet-familiar Wonderland for her to regain her life's balance and again find the love and everyday magic that reside in us all - if we know how to look. With a book by Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd and Jack Murphy (The Civil War), lyrics by Jack Murphy, music by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, The Scarlett Pimpernel, The Civil War), and directed by Gregory Boyd, Wonderland begins previews Friday, January 15, opens officially Wednesday, January 20 and runs through Sunday, February 14.

Sergio Trujillo To Make Directorial Debut With Wildhorn, Cruz And Murphy's Upcoming Musical, HAVANA


Sergio Trujillo, the acclaimed choreographer of Jersey Boys, Next to Normal and the forthcoming musicals The Addams Family and Memphis, will make his directorial debut with Havana, a new musical (not based on the film of the same name) with a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban author Nilo Cruz, music by internationally-renowned Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Jack Murphy. Produced by Kathleen Raitt, William Franzblau/Jay Harris, Ben Sprecher/Louise Forlenza and Steven E. Leber/Jordan Leber, Havana, which is aiming for the 2010-11 Broadway season, will have a private industry presentation this week in New York.
