Enchantment Theatre Company's THE SNOW QUEEN Begins Today
Each year, Enchantment Theatre Company brings its theatrical magic to the holidays and this season will be no exception. The company is celebrating the return of their production of Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen. The show will run today, December 13-January 4 at the Arts Bank, 601 South Broad Street. Elena Demyanenko & Dai Jian's BLUE ROOM Set for New York Live Arts, Now thru 2/15
New York Live Arts presents the world premiere of Elena Demyanenko and Dai Jian's Blue Room, today, February 13 - 15 at 7:30pm in the New York Live Arts Theater. Also on the bill will be the world premiere of Raw Nerves, a solo by Demyanenko in collaboration with performer Leah Morrison, and Deja Ve - As a solo, a work by Dai Jian featuring Jian and dancer Austin Selden.
Grace Kelly Quartet to Play Harris Center, 2/28-3/1
'I've heard the future of jazz and it is Grace Kelly' (NPR) and audiences at Harris Center for the Arts will have a chance to hear for themselves as the Grace Kelly Quartet comes to Folsom. Grace Kelly's prolific career includes seven albums, four ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Awards and two Boston Music Awards as Jazz Artist of the Year, all while still in her teens. She was named one of the top ten college women musicians in 2011 by Glamour Magazine and garnered accolades from jazz luminaries such as Wynton Marsalis, Dave Brubeck, Harry Connick, Jr., and Phil Woods.
