The Broadway community and fifty Pokémon cast members are joining forces to raise funds for The Brick Theater in Brooklyn (579 Metropolitan Avenue) after the non-profit venue postponed all shows back in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.

AMERICAN IDIOT opened on Saturday, April 30, and will run through Sunday, May 15, onstage at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd. in La Mirada. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening festivities below!

With a book by Kevin Del Aguila and music and lyrics by Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker, Altar Boyz is directed by Megan Nicole O'Brien with an ensemble cast of Robert Hager, Adam Hoyak, Billy Kametz, Michael Linden, and Nicholas Park.

11th Hour Theatre Company presents its inaugural holiday program HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA for one night only on December 8 from 7:00-10:00 PM in the Caplan Recital Hall at the University of the Arts (211 South Broad Street). Featured performers are 11th Hour Supergroup including Cara Antosca. Kat Borelli, Rachel Camp, Melissa Joy Hart, Marissa Hines, Alex Keiper, Dan Kiernan, Craig O'Brien, Michael Philip O'Brien, Steve Pacek, Samantha Joy Pearlman, and Sigmund Washington. Also performing will be members of the cast from 11th Hour's Spring Mainstage production of Altar Boyz: Brendan Dalton, Kevin, Duffin, Adam Hoyak and Billy Kametz, as well as a special Philly Star Face-Off between Jeff Coon, Mary Martello and Jennie Eisenhower, and solo performances by Corey Regensberg and Danielle Lovier's group Olive Juice.

Mazeppa Productions is the first resident theater company in Philadelphia to bring the 2006 Tony Award-winning musical Spring Awakeningto life. Opening tonight, July 12, 2012, Spring Awakening marks the start of Mazeppa's second season of musical production as well as its inaugural production at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre in Old City, Philadelphia. Director Rob Henry, music director Jerry Kapral, and choreographer Dawn Morningstar lead the cast of thirteen in staging the Duncan Sheik/Steven Sater musical. Spring Awakening runs through July 28, 2012 at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre at 20 North American Street, Philadelphia.
