Jill BC Du Boff has been appointed to the faculty at David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and Head of the Sound Design Concentration and will also serve as Sound Design Advisor at Yale Repertory Theatre. Mikah Berky will join the Design Program faculty on December 1, 2023, and will also serve as Scenic Charge at Yale Repertory Theatre.

Ars Nova announces the lineup for its 6th Annual ANT Fest. This year's festival of All New Talent runs from today, June 3 - 29, featuring fresh new work from some of New York's most exciting emerging artists. From trapeze thrillers to hip-hop basketball musicals, 2013's ANT Fest heats up Ars Nova this summer with four weeks of comedy, music, theater and a fusion of all three you won't see anywhere else.

About the show: Matchmaker Matchmaker I'm Willing to Settle! invites you to join "Nikki" as she plunges into the matrix of the world wide web to emerge as a guru of Internet Dating in this new original musical. Throw in accidental pornography, impromptu 24 hour trips to Europe, a video chat romance and you've got an honest, heartbreakingly uplifting story that will delight the single, the not, those wishing they were single again…and everyone in between!

Jessica Stone's production of A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum will receive a Friends of Roundabout reading.

Rebel Collective Theatre and Slant Theatre Project will present Craig Clary's THE CLASSROOM in FringeNYC starting Aug. 14. The play tells the story of a group of young paralegals who find themselves in a strange limbo between their devil-may-care adolescence and a corporate world of responsibilities. They'll use any means possible - eating contests, Sudoku tournaments, computerized talking monkeys - to keep things interesting.

Conceived as a way of offering emerging artists of all kinds a point of entry into the New York arts community, this year's shows were selected from an open submission process that drew nearly 200 applicants. Now in its third year, the festival of All New Talent has quickly established itself as the premier destination to catch an eclectic mix of brand new music, theater and comedy shows. It has also become an important first step in the development process of various projects, such as Seven Minutes in Heaven (ANT Fest 2009; HERE Arts Center Spring 2010), Songs of a Night Owl (ANT Fest 2009, Berkshire Theater Festival Summer 2010 as Pool Boy), Samuel and Alasdair (ANT Fest 2009, 2010 NY Independent Theater Award for Outstanding Production of a Play), and Ithaca (ANT Fest 2008, sold out Joe's Pub run in 2009). In addition to the thirty ANT Fest shows, Ars Nova will also be offering its hit variety show, Showgasm, throughout the Fest. Featuring a mix of current and previous Fest artists, the first installation will be a special ANT Fest Kickoff Showgasm, at 8pm on October 18. Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of the Tony Award-winning musical A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum will close on July 11. The all-male cast is directed by Jessica Stone (Butley, The Odd Couple), musical directed by Gary Adler (Avenue Q, Altar Boyz), and choreographed by Denis Jones (Legally Blonde, Broadway Bares).

The Williamstown Theatre Festival's production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM will feature the song 'The Echo Song' instead of 'That'll Show Him' in the second act.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Presents an all-male production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM June 30 through July 11. Directing the production will be Jessica Stone. Starring as Pseudolus is Tony Award nominee Christopher Fitzgerald. Also starring in the production are Graham Rowat, Josh Grisetti, Kevin Cahoon and Paul Castree, as well as David Costibile, Zackary Grady, Adam Lerman, Chivas Michael, Bryce Pinkham, Joe Reid, Jeremy Shamos, David Turner and John Patrick Walker.

The cast has been announced for the McCarther Theatre Centre's production of Oliver Goldsmith's 'She Stoops to Conquer', directed by Nicholas Martin. The show plays October 13-November 1.
