The folks who gave you Manhattan Monologue Slam are going national with The National Monologue Slam, the latest creation from the minds of Philip and Robert Galinsky.  The brothers have been serving the acting community since 2003 with their groundbreaking monthly competition The Manhattan Monologue Slam, an opportunity for emerging actors to perform for industry professionals each and every month by providing a panel of judges consisting of agents, casting directors, producers and the like, offering valuable advice and critiques of the performers.

Macy's, Inc. announced that Bloomingdale's plans to open a 150,000-square-foot, three-level location in fall 2018 in an all-new shopping, dining and entertainment center being developed in Norwalk, CT, by General Growth Properties (GGP).

Macy's, Inc. announced it will open a new Bloomingdale's Outlet store in fall 2015 at 2085 Broadway (on the northwest corner of 72nd Street) in the heart of Manhattan's Upper West Side. It will be the 14th Bloomingdale's Outlet store and the first in a major urban center.

Bloomingdale's will be ringing in the Year of the Ram this Chinese New Year with unique merchandise, special events and cultural presentations from Jan.22 - March 2, 2015.

Macy's, Inc. announced that Macy's and Bloomingdale's stores plan to open in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2018 as part of a strategic partnership with Al Tayer Group LLC, a leading UAE-based company with diversified businesses. This will be Macy's first international store location and the second for Bloomingdale's.

Bloomingdale's new Stanford store in Palo Alto, CA, opened on Oct. 10, 2014. This location will anchor the Stanford Shopping Center at the northeast side of the mall as part of a multi-phase renovation of the shopping center.

To celebrate Chinese New Year, select Bloomingdale's will be ringing in the Year of the Horse with unique pop-up shops, merchandise, special events, and cultural presentations from Jan. 10 - Feb. 15, 2014.
