May 6, 2022 - Two-time Grammy Award winning Los Angeles-based band,  OZOMATLI,  continues to release new music in 2022 – “Sunsets,” from the forthcoming album Marching On, is now available on all digital services. Listen to “Sunsets” now. Marching On is their first studio album since the critically acclaimed, 2017 reggae twisted Non-Stop: Mexico to Jamaica in 2017 and marks their debut with new label, Blue Élan Records.  The band is also hitting the road to preview this new music live. Beginning on May 15th they will take part in the popular Southern California Beach Life Festival before hitting several high-profile summer series concerts across the country. Rounding out their summer, the band will jump on The Old School Cruise in late September.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to host the return of Broadway and concert star Daniel Reichard, who returned to Birdland on Sunday, May 10 at 6pm, with a show celebrating the music and lyrics of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The evening featured selections from the celebrated songwriting team's catalogue, including rarely-heard jewels and treasured classics alike. Wilma Bonet (Posibilidad, Too Big To Fail) directs Lizzie Calogero (Red State, Too Big To Fail), Keiko Shimosato Carreiro (GodFellas, Doing Good, Veronique of the Mounties), Michael Gene Sullivan (Posibilidad, Too Big to Fail, GodFellas), and Victor Toman (Making A Killing, GodFellas, 1600 Transylvania Ave), along with Cory Censoprano and Siobhan Marie Doherty, who make their San Francisco Mime Troupe debuts in this lively satire about corporate funding and the art of mass distraction.
