Mark Rylance returns to the West End this summer in Dr Semmelweis opening at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 11 July, with previews from 29 June, and running until Saturday 7 October.

There have been many theatre productions made available during the pandemic lockdown in the UK, while stages have been quiet and venues closed. We take a look at some of the highlights you may have missed online over the past few months.

'Wait For Mea?? is a major new British dance musical, written and composed by Sam Cassidy with choreography and direction from Ainsley Ricketts, a finalist on a??The Greatest Dancera??. A heart-warming tale about life, loss and eternal love, a??Wait For Mea?? was filmed during lockdown with cast and creatives in a social bubble, adhering to COVID guidelines.

On Sunday 1 April, the West End's best talents joined forces for THE MUSICAL MARATHON at The Other Palace to support Paul Taylor-Mills' efforts in raising money for the Terrence Higgins Trust. Jodie Steele (Wicked) closed the concert with a barnstorming rendition of 'Dear Mr President' by Pink. Watch the video below by West End Video!

The Other Palace will host The Musical Marathon this Sunday 1st April 2018, a one-off charity concert bringing together a variety of West End stars in aid of the Terrence Higgins Trust.

Written by Sam Cassidy, directed by Arlene Phillips, Myth: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus runs until Saturday in concert-style workshop performances at The Other Palace. The production is semi-staged and performed by a live 6-piece rock band.

Rock musical Myth: The Rise and Fall of Orpheus, directed by Arlene Phillips and written by Sam Cassidy, will have 9 concert-style workshop performances at The Other Palace from Saturday 10 - Saturday 17 March 2018. The production will be semi-staged and performed by a live 6-piece band.

Freeform has cancelled its freshman drama series GUILT. The show premiered to 486,000 viewers, but quickly dropped to an average of 300,000 for the remainder of its 10-episode season.

Actor and musician Ryan Molloy won praise for his roles in Jerry Springer: The Opera, Taboo, Godspell and On the Town, but he's best known for playing Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys for a record-breaking six years in the West End and on Broadway. He's now working in the rather more intimate Cockpit Theatre, where he stars in the world premiere of Sam Cassidy's rock musical 27, helmed by Arlene Phillips, which begins previews on 8 September.
